How many of us read an article and think it’s shocking but then never do anything about it, me for one from time to time.
Sometimes there are things we mean to do but just don’t get around to – bit like spring cleaning, pancakes on pancake day, washing the car, exercise, oh and my personal favourite ironing, apparently an iron isn’t an ornament, who’d have thought!
If you haven’t signed the petition for the debate on the traps please do, it really is very easy, you only have to click on a link and enter your email address you then get a short email with a link from the gov website to click on to verify your signature that’s it, very quick and really easy (unlike ironing, tried it once who knew ironing a kingside duvet was such a faff!)
Please sign – everyone who does takes us one step nearer to the discussion needed in parliament. If you are one of the lucky ones to have these delightful creatures visit your garden help protect them. They face enough obstacles in life with loss of access to suitable habitat, increased traffic volumes etc.. without being trapped resulting in death or injury.
Well said Wildlifehaven, there isn’t that long left to get to the 100,000 mark, so please sign and keep sharing. The higher up on the front page we can get the more people will sign.
As for ironing, my ironing pile looks like the leaning tower of Pizza and I decided long ago that life’s too short to iron king size duvet covers!

Isn’t it lovely to see the petition numbers going up more quickly. Watch out on Friday. There is going to be one of those Thuderclap things on twitter, etc. the original target was for 500 supporters and it is now up to 981 with a reach of over a million. Would love to see the Petition really taking off.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic, though, if we on Hedgehog Street could get the numbers well up before then. The more people who sign the greater impact it will have on the powers that be.
