Hi all we have had hogs coming to the garden for several years,we are blessed, my husband put heavy cardboard first there, that went two years in a sheltered patio open no doors. With shredded soft newspaper and we put food and water out every night they came, and they started using theboxa lot, so my husband built a comb

    Hi Annecoles

It’s good to hear you have had hedgehogs there. Long may it continue! Although they may be about to disappear to hibernate for the winter, but if they do, hopefully will be back in the Spring.

    Good luck.

Our hogs are using their house, mainly to eat. they enjoy eating Waitrose & M &S dog food on the saucer with spikes biscuits.

    Hi Wren 23

Sounds as if they are lucky hogs! Don’t be surprised if they disappear to hibernate soon. It’s always a bit sad when they disappear, but always a treat to see them returning in the Spring.

    Thanks Nic,
The big one had his head in the box with his body outside the other night. So far they are still about here in Clacton Essex.
