    Hi, I have a regular hedgehog which is always the first to appear in the evening, over the last week it has been coming earlier and earlier each night, last night it was out looking for food at 6.50pm and it was still really light outside, it eats a small amount of food although very quickly then returns a few times throughout the night, is this ok or too early to be out and about?

    Sounds like it may be a mum
    If it’s actions are purposeful and it seems alert I wouldn’t worry

    Stef I would be so happy if it was a Mum as I’m desperate to see babies! We have at least 4 hedgehogs coming every and put 4 bowls of food and water out for them! Fingers crossed 🤞
