I have always had a interest in hedgehogs, i have had a number of hedgehogs in my garden for years, but i have not seen any this year at all.
But i did buy a hedgehog house last year, and made sure i had a gap in my fence so they could come and go freely.
I now work as a lollypop man, and i do try to tell mums and dads if they have a garden to help the hedgehogs out by putting a small gap in there fence to allow hogs to be able to move about.
This has been a bit of an eye opener for many of them and there children, I hope one day they will return to my garden.

Great work. Perhaps you should ask your neighbors to make holes in their fences as well. A common occurrence is that someone puts up a new fence in their garden and that stops all the hogs from getting any further down the street. This may be the reason you haven’t seen any.
