    That’s so good DwarfHog that someone is showing interest in the box already!

    I don’t think the hogs eat the large slugs. They sometimes even share a bowl of food with some. It is mostly the smaller ones they eat, but they are apparently the ones that do most damage to plants. I used to do the out in the dark with a bucket and torch, slug hunting thing, too! Now I mostly have plants they don’t like so much. Although I can see it might be more necessary if you grow veg.

    TyburyDuck. I remembered after I wrote about nest materials that the hoglet here actually used some green foliage too in his nest (although not as much as the rest). I saw him on video pulling some off a nearby plant. Don’t worry if the neighbours think you’re mad! I expect the same applies to all of us, but it’s worth it, for the hogs.
