NEW BHPS PETITION IN 2018
‘Call on DEFRA to withdraw UK approval of A24 trap, sold in NZ to kill hedgehogs’
Because the A24 Trap is self re-setting, it has the capability of wiping out large numbers of hedgehogs in a very short space of time and that is what they are used for in New Zealand.
Loads more signatures are needed to get this matter debated in Parliament. So come on all you Hedgehog Champions – 47,000 plus, registered on Hedgehog Street. If we all sign and get two others to sign, we will be over the minimum of 100,000 needed, in no time.
This way of helping hedgehogs costs nothing, but a few minutes of your time, but potentially could save many hedgehog lives.
The sooner we reach 100,000 the sooner this can be debated in Parliament and the sooner, hopefully, approval for these terrible traps can be withdrawn – I hate to think of traps out there all this time killing poor unsuspecting hedgehogs.
