Hi. I’m sure one of the more experienced members will respond shortly. But what I’ve learned from recently scouring the internet on hedgehog behavior is that they can visit many different gardens in one night, so they may be sheltering nearby and coming to your station for food? My visiting hedgehogs have stopped coming in the past few days (we had snow here too). Someone else told me to offer food for 2 weeks beyond the last nibble just in case there’s still a roaming hedgehog. There seems to be quite a difference in hibernation dates across the forum too. I’d be interested to know if this is linked to location.
