The A24 Trap is used intentionally in New Zealand to kill hedgehogs. If you want proof that it kills hedgehogs there is a link to a film on the BHPS web site of one of them doing just that. The trap is being sold in this country unaltered, to kill rats and stoats, but can also kill hedgehogs.
The lure used to attract the rats and stoats would attract hedgehogs as well. they will eat all sorts of things which do not form part of their natural, ‘wild’ diet and are very inquisitive animals.
