Russell Armer Homes builds hedgehog-friendly houses

The first developer to proactively engage with Hedgehog Street has ensured that all 56 homes it is building this year will have hedgehog highways through their gardens.

 

 

New developments offer challenges and opportunities for wildlife. Like everything, the devil is in the detail. 

 

It is hoped that this innovation will inspire many other developers that hedgehog-friendly gardens are not only cheap and easy to deliver – they are also brilliant for many other vulnerable plants and animals.
