Daphnehogs

Hi everyone,
I have built a hedgehog house and a feeding station. I have put out some kitten meat to hopefully attract hedgehogs. I went to check on the food this morning and its full of casters from flys! What type of food do you leave out overnight? I don’t really feel happy with flysheet laying eggs in the food as it will turn into maggots. What should I do?
