Hi Janie275

Well, hogs will settle down for a nap in all sorts of places, but it’s possible she has a nest in there. That is, if she is a female! If there are hoglets in there you might have heard them calling. In hot weather she might take a break from them and rest up somewhere else for short periods of time. Hoglets could go out foraging with a Mother hog after about 3 to 4 weeks.

Fingers crossed that some hoglets do materialise, but if not it’s still nice that a hog has found refuge in your shed.

Good luck and happy hog watching.
