It sounds as if you’re doing a great job!
Yes, hogs will make multiple visits a night to feeding stations, but whilst not as many as 84 hogs, I imagine there must be quite a few. It’s lovely to have several hogs visiting so that your can see their interactions.
You’re also right that the very dry weather we had may have made it more difficult to find natural food. Apart from anything else, the poor earthworms come to mind!
Well done educating the neighbours and it’s always useful knowing somewhere you can take the hogs should they get into any trouble with injuries, etc.
