Excuse me jumping in but taking a break from gardening and just logged in here.
I have no expert advice but find your video very interesting.
I had a similar experience a few months ago and rang a rescue place, but they just said if the hog is moving and eating don’t worry – easy to say 🙁
I don’t have a camera, so describing what was happening was very difficult.
My little hog is still here but my concern was a throat blockage making swallowing problems.
Wonderfully helpful experts here who can advise you – but as it’s an understandable concern for you could I suggest try putting your post under the Rescuing a Hedgehog section as I believe that is checked more frequently.
Be really interested to know what you find out.
