    hoxdy everyone, I have an hedge who visits my garden, he’s been coming a couple of years and keeps the snails at bay, anyhoo, last night he was on duty and failed me,
    what shall I do ?

    Loved your story! No, don’t sack the hedgehog! I think he can definitely be forgiven for missing one slug and otherwise seems to be doing a great job – very thorough! Do you by any chance have a pond in your garden? Maybe you could try to recruit a few frogs to help him out!
