Re Houses, I bought a mesh/igloo type house about 18 months ago but had no takers, but I suspect it was not located in the right place. I subsequently bought a wooden one from the Hutch Company which is well made and has a removable lid. Put some hay and few leaves inside and more hay/leaves outside and after about 4 days had a resident. Then purchased a second one and this too was soon occupied. With the second one I thought I would try and improve the insulation by putting some polystyrene sheet on the bottom and taping it up with waterproof duct tape. Following this I moved the original igloo house to the bottom of the garden and as of a week or so ago had a Mum and 5 kids move in (see videos posted on forum), so I guess the igloo house is fine. I have now ordered two more wooden houses which I will put in the vicinity of the original house in the hope that the kids might use these when they get too big for the family home. If I get no takers I can always use them as feeding stations.
