We now have at least 5 adult hogs and 2 hoglets. Two houses and one feeding station now in the garden. Never before has my garden looked so scruffy, the perfect habitat for them, but its worth it to be able to watch them every night coming into my garden to feed.
Hi Avena, join the club… Don’t know if you’ve read any of my posts but you may have see, one of my neighbours said my wild bit at the bottom of my back garden was a “rat feast!” I hope yours are more laid back. They are a wonderful site and you are so lucky to have some babies. Most of mine have gone walk about and a new one who was playing hide and seek behind a tree trunk the night before last, didn’t come last night due to a loud and noisy event across the road last night! I’m sure some will come back to start fattening up for hibernation soon. Best wishes.
Hi Avena
Lovely to hear about the hogs there – especially the hoglets! Good to hear you have a hog friendly garden. Hopefully it’s already linked with other gardens, too. They can travel up to 2 miles a night so need a lot of space.
Good luck with all the hogs. Have fun watching them.
